5 Things TO Do At Home While QuarantineD

I live in Indiana, and corona has most of us cooped up in the house.

If you're like me, then you took a few days to rest and catch up on sleep/netflix, but now it's time to get up. Here's your WAKE UP call!

So we can all name a few things that we wished we had time for, or could catch up on before Corona made its debut. That said... here's a list of 5 things you can do at home while in quarantine.

#1 Spend time with God.

Take out this time to build your spiritual life and get closer to God.

Yesterday, James and I went outside to get food for the first time in 5 days.

Of course there weren't a lot of people out due to the coronavirus. It made me think about how things are always changing, but also that God NEVER changes. The fact that we need him everyday hasn't changed either.

You/your loved ones may have tested positive for the coronavirus, or are suffering from another ailment (physical, emotional, spiritual). It doesn't matter what it is. You can take it ALL to the Lord. 1 Peter 5:7 (NLT) "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you"

#2 Exercise

I'm at the heaviest that I've been in a while. My excuse lately has been "time".

Well now I have it and you do too!

We don't need a gym membership or equipment to exercise. Just turn on your tv/phone to youtube or download a free app. Exercising is great for your physical health, mental, and emotional health. Let's all be like Nike and "Just Do It".

Need Motivation?

- Search #sweatcheck on all social media platforms. You'll see people of all ages, sizes, and levels working to be healthy. Don't forget to eat clean!

- Pinterest is another place I've been going to for "at home exercise ideas" and motivation!

Other tips/motivation

- Make it fun! Work out and cook with your husband and/or children.

- You can also search for low impact exercises if you're a beginner or have joint pain.

- Video chat a friend or family member and work out together!

#3 Refresh, Renew, & Re- Organize

A clean home is a happy home.

It also helps with mental clarity. Now that we have all this time, we can do more than just clean. Let's get rid of the old and start fresh! You can clean out that closet you always wanted to clean, and tackle those wood works too. Don't forget to organize!

When everything has a place, you know where everything goes. #clutterfree

#4 Try that "something New" you always wanted to DO! #Indoors

During our first year of marriage, James bought me a guitar. That was 7 years ago, and I still haven't learned lol. Again, #Idonthavethetime is not a legit excuse right now. So, whether it be learning something new, or making a new habit, try it and see how it goes! You'll probably love it.

#5 B.Y.O.B.

Be Your Own Boss!

This is the time to work on that business idea you've always dreamed about.

I know that you're tired of working for others, I know that you have BIG creative dreams/goals, and I know that you want to make your own schedule.

Sis I feel the same way...So let's WORK!

The bible says to write the vision and make it plain (Habakkuk 2:2). It also says that "your gifts will make room for you"(Proverbs 18:16). Work on your dreams and goals while you have this free time. Ask God "how" and he'll show you.

Here is your chance! Take it!
