So Fresh & So Clean Clean (How to get: The Freshest Smelling Laundry)

Updated: Apr 2, 2020

Out of all of my senses, I think that my sense of smell is the most keen (which I guess is a blessing and a curse lol).

I am obsessed with fragrances, especially ones that make my clothes (covers, pillows, etc) smell FRESH.

Fall is here (YAY!). So there is nothing like sitting in my recliner while sipping Cali Tea, watching Netflix, and cuddling up with a warm, fresh- smelling blanket. It's literally one of my favorite things. I also LOVE, putting on warm, fresh- smelling clothes straight from the dryer. It's so cozy, especially now that it's getting cold out.

(My husband keeps our home at 68 degrees in the winter We live up north, so I've grown to love wearing layers in the house lol)

If you're looking for THEE BEST smelling laundry combination, then you've come to the right place because THIS RIGHT HERE, will have you eye balls rolling back EVERY. TIME. YOU. WASH.

It smells so good!

If you are into all-natural/organics products, then you are not going to love these items. I've been loving the THINK DIRTY APP which allows you to shop for clean ingredient items, and tells you whether or not the products you're using (skin care, makeup, laundry detergent, home cleaners, etc) are natural and organic.... BUT I'm just not there yet when it comes to my laundry. It's a process lol!

OKAY so here we go!

I've listed the type of product, scent name, what it claims to do, and price. Enjoy!

Laundry Detergent: Tide Simply Clean & Fresh

  • Scent Name: Refreshing Breeze

(It has to be the YELLOW & BLUE one, NOT yellow & green)

  • Claims: Get's Dirt and Odor Out, and it has a low price. (True, true, and TRUE)

  • Price: $8. 94- 138 fl oz (Walmart) / $9.44- 138 fl oz (Target)

Fabric Softener: Suavitel

(I use the liquid for the wash and dryer sheets for the dryer #ihatestatic)

  • Scent Name: Field Flowers

(once again, it has to be the BLUE one, leave the pink one on the shelf! The yellow one smells good, but overall won't give you the same "scent results")

  • Claims: Conditions clothes and gives you 45 days of freshness,

("Gives you the softness of a mothers love"- All I have to say is FACTS... okay not quite, but it's a close 2nd lol))

  • Price: $6. 84- 13. 5 fl oz (Walmart) / $6.89- 13.5 fl oz (Target)

Bleach: Clorox (Splashless)- *WHITES ONLY*

  • Scent name: Regular (the original one)

  • Claims: No splash, Deep Cleaning, Whitens, Brightens, and Deodarizes

  • Price: $3.97- 121 fl oz (Walmart) / $4.49- 121 fl oz (Target)

Now, if you just use these three products when you wash your clothes (bleach for whites only of course) , then your clothes are going to smell amazing and you can stop reading right here. BUT, if you're like me, and are a little EXTRA, then keep reading for my favorite Detergent Boosters!

Detergent Booster: Borax - *ALL COLORS*

  • Scent name: N/A

  • Claims: Helps remove stains and neutralizes odors. You can also use this as a multipurpose cleaner for your entire home so that's a plus. Also it has clean ingredients. Plus! Plus!

  • Price: $3.97- 121 fl oz (Walmart) / $4.49- 121 fl oz (Target)

Detergent Booster: Oxi Clean- *ALL COLORS*

  • Scent name: Regular (the original one)

  • Claims: Brightens clothes without bleach, removes stains and odors

  • Price: $9. 47- 5lb (Walmart) / $10.99- 5lb (Target)

That's all folks! Thanks for reading. I hope this was helpful! Please comment below if you've tried these products, or are going to try them. Let me know if you like them!
